I know that you all have seen me type endlessly on how modern technology so often makes me angry. It’s not all bad though. One of the new technologies I love is the ability to get personalised cards, When I was a kid, only the rich could afford to do something of this nature. In present times, it’s as easy as uploading a photo, making a few choices around design, and personalised cards are delivered to your door a few days later.
Back to my opinion of modern times, why do people not send cards anymore? Everything now is email or text. Kids just don’t see the value in going the extra mile and giving a person something they can hold to show that you care. The fact that I got a birthday card from my son through email this year hurt a little but I guess that’s the way kids are doing everything now days.
